Not my photos, but taken by a mate of mine at the Autosport show yesterday...

...the car is apparently in quite a small stand, so he couldn't get any wider shots!

Couple questions:

A: Will the widebody kit be available or no b/c of the rear aluminum work? Or is it carbon fiber?
B: Any chance of an engine bay shot? I understand if you're keeing it under wraps.
C: Wheel specs if you don't mind me asking?

As a fellow aspen white GRB driver this thing is literally my dream car!

Pretty sure they use the WRC S14 body shell. So it's Prodrive's body kit modified.

The engine should be completed in a few weeks guys and should hold a few surprises for you all, this car has a completely flat floor and will have a different front spoiler to the one shown in the pictures, the rear spoiler gives 300kg of downforce at 160mph, Matt has tried to get the balance of the car 50/50 front/rear and left/right to improve the handling and help Olly control it easier.
Most of the car is carbon fibre except the tail-gate,most of the floor is also carbon fibre.

Snicker bars kept us going, just finished polishing before the car went to the Autosport show.

They may be Prodrive WRC panels, but I can't imagine they used a Prodrive shell to start with: would be an absolute fortune!

I have heard that new UK Time Attack regulations have now rendered that spoiler illegal for competition use? Is that right?

Again, not my pictures, but spotted these over on the P1WOC forum and thought you chaps might be interested...

When I think how long my build is taking I get a little sad but then I think how long this thing has taken and the results it yielded, and I then apply that to my own car and hope to achieve a fraction of awesomeness this has.

Because Race Car! This has to have the most downforce of anything from them thus far.

Could anyone be so kind as to explain why the hood vents have two extruded edges 2-3cm over the hood? Does it prevent turbulence in that area to aid in negative pressure escaping the engine bay? That's my best guess.

Massive thread resurrection, but the GSII ran for the first time at Silverstone last weekend...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLiqTIDlaPQ

...seems that a split liner caused the issue at 1:13 (and the retirement of the car).

Short write up on the UK Time Attack site:

http://www.timeattack.co.uk/gobstopp....txSIxUsy.dpbs

Prior to the blow up the GSII set the fastest lap of the day, on mid-boost and without nitrous. Can't wait to this car in action later in the year when they have ironed all the creases out of it!
