Default Where do I go from here? Log inside.

Hey all, sorry if this belongs somewhere else. My question's this, what do I do next. I'm very new to tuning, especially the UTEC. This log was from a 4th gear pull.

Mods:
TXS UTEC v5.0 Stg 2 basemap.
TXS Tuner (non pro).
Perrin EBCS.
Perrin Drop-in.
Helix TBE & UP.
Blitz DCII (monitors boost).
Stock turbo/IC/fuel system.

Boost is at 1.14 - 1.16.

I can see from the log that my IDC is way too high, any fixes? Pulling fuel?

Anyways, any tuning tips would be very helpful.

Lean out your AFR. Shoot for 10.9~11:1 around 3000 rpm to about 11.2:1 at redline. That will help out your IDC's and make more power.

Switching to Pinks or Blues would help the problem correctly. If you're running correct and safe A/F ratios I'd drop boost before dropping fuel to drop the IDC, but that's just me.

If you can lean out safely, lean out a bit and leave some headroom. If not you have to lower boost to lower airflow.

lean that sucker out. are you on 93? i shot for 11.2 and then 11.4 at redline at stage2. at redline my idc was around 94%. less than 10.5 is way too rich.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'll pull some fuel and go from there. Sorry that I didn't specify fuel grade, I'm on 93.

On a side note. From looking at my load sites, I'm not reaching peak boost. I'm under the impression that under full boost the load sites should read 100.

Is this correct to say?

No. Your map is probably scaled 0-18psi, so you wont hit a load of 100 unless you hit approx. 18psi. A stage 2 car is not setup to run that much boost. Try raising your boost values to 350 and see where that puts you. Feel free to run ~17psi or so with the stock turbo, it will handle it just fine. Its your car though, so do what you want.

i run 11.7:1 on 93 octane, with more boost and more advance.

there is no reason to drop the boost down... unless of course you like less torque!

Cool Jeff, thanks for the info. I have some questions for you as well. As for setting it to 350, that's where the UTEC was set at when I put the EBCS in, I got 24 psi right off the bat. Not good.

It's just crazy, the more that people tell me, the more questions I have.
