Oh Boy!!! Today at lunch I happend to find a just cleared plot of land that will soon be converted to a new sub-divsion. So oh course the rally driver in me just could not resist! It has been raining quite a bit here in the metro Detroit area the past week so the pock marked access road was covered with about 3 inches ALL fresh wet lovely MUD!!!! So I charge ahead not knowing what to expect being the first time i have had the wagon off the paved road I am taking it easy for sure thinking to myself BOY what a phone call to work " I went off roading at lunch & am stuck so I will be late
" So I am driving down this road and I say to myself "Hmmm, This is really driving nice" So I step it up a bit & the wagon was eager to please. I can say I have driven lots of Jeeps off road but they dont quite feel the same as a WRX wagon. More than once I had the wagon almost compleatly sideways but yet were still driving forward with complete control! IT was SO much fun!!!! I lost track of time going around that road so many times & ended up not having time to go buy my Subway :-) So here I sit at work hungry but counting the minutes until quiting time so I can go back to my road!!! The wagon is COATED with dark mud! You can hardly tell its white at all!Cant wait to actually get this sucker in a rally!! ![]() Clayton ![]()

Where did you go ? I work downtown and live in Clarkston and have been hitting every dirt road I can find but haven't really found a good stretch that wasn't full of potholes...

I'm so paranoid about trying to keep my car clean that I'd be afraid to go offroading. Jorge (RiftsWRX) www.ProjectWRX.com |

you considering a wagon or a SEDAN?
On road, the sedan handles a bit crisper than the wagon... minimal differences, but easily fixed when you start doing suspension mods... can't vouch for off-road stuff though. Quote:
