Unichip help.

I have a 05 wrx and just bought turboback exhaust plus up pipe off of a friend for a great price. Since I have the 04-05 and I have heard nothing but major problems with putting the up pipe and downpipe on without engine management I left them off and just put the catback on. I am looking to save up for the accessport but I have taking 2 summer school classes and paying for other expenses so I might not be able to get it as soon as I thought. A buddy from a local web site offered me a Dastek Unichip for stage 2 for 50 bucks. He has a 02 wrx so I didn't know if you could actually put that on my car. Just seeing if you guys thought it would be worth it so I can get that up and downpipe on
