Default New to Town

Hello everyone I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Andrew, and I have just moved to Sandy, from Irvine alifornia.

I have an easy starter question. I am looking for a good bike shop local to Sandy/Salt Lake City. I want to get a bike right away and would like a few suggestions from the locals in the know.

Any ideas are appreciated and I look forward to meeting some of you along the way. Thanks guys.

Andrew

Welcome Andrew. You'll notice that we meet every Tuesday night for dinner. We call it "Taco Tuesday" (check the thread). Of course not all show up every time. If you can ever make it out, it would be good to meet you in person. Everyone here is way cool and some of us are So Cal transplants like yourself.

Welcome to town, if you see an extremely loud, stock looking STI with a driver resembling jesus, that's me. You should try to make it to a Taco Tuesday or one of our random drives. See ya around!

^^^ Ohh Wolf Creek Pass..*drool*, Hell around here is some fantastick roads to be run. But for close by and fun starter is Big Cottonwood canyon and/or Little cottonwood. Both are close to where you live in sandy. I just live next door in midvale.
As to the Mt. Bike question, I would suggest Gosln bike, on Highland Dr. north of Cottonwood Mall.
Also welcome to the area.

If you want something a little closer than Wolf Creek Pass and you get tired of the Cottonwood Canyons, there's Emigration and East Canyons, and Ogden Canyon, Old Snowbasin Rd., and Trappers Loop. Lots of fun...
