Default ARP Headstuds - 99 2.5RS need help

Guys,

I am heading to Van this weekend and I need to pick up some headstuds by ARP for my 99 RS. Where can I go to get a set in the city? Any help is appreciated!

Mopac or Best Buy should have em.
Best Buy will be cheaper, but they'll most likely have to order it in.

Yes, if they are the stretch kind...they are single use, because you wont be able to torque them down properly after.

Subaru, like the other Japanese manufacturers, use torque-to-yield head bolts, which means they're only intended for one use. Once they're torque, they're stretch a lil. Every re-torque stretches em more, loosing clamping force.

But hey, be glad you don't own a GM. Those high end Cadillac STS's have torque-to-yield BLOCKS!! Yes, blocks. So basically, if the head gaskets go on those, you need a new engine, cause the block can only be torqued down once What amazing engineers those people
