I just did this last weekend after putting it off for a couple of years because I was afrid to do it. But I had a speaker that was installed by cartoys back then and realized there was no noise coming from one of them turns out it wasn't even hooked up( both wires were just hanging there) Anyway it was so easy. I just searched doorcard removal and found a thread with sep by step bictures and took about 15 minutes for everything. I wish I could find it and post it here for you but I'm embarassed to say I don't know how to. But you'll find it cuz I did. Good luck.

Try looking at my Car Audio Manifesto that is sticky'd at the top of this section. (And if you go looking in Unabomber's Manifesto he put together a nice searching FAQ as well).

I was afraid posting wasn't a good idea considering i didnt look at unibombers manifesto, which is always helpful. I'll check that out and search aside from it as well...

actually I tried it this on my '06 STi today and it works great but you can omit step 4... It's not necessary but just don't forget to unhook the connectors for windows etc. after taking off the door panel. uh duh?

I'm gunna attempt to hook up some Infinity 60.7cs tommorow so here's hopin. It should compliment the new double din Kenwood unit. Crotchfield says it should fit nicely with the adapter bracket so heres hoping, that it comes in the box anyway.

I'm attempting a set up like this, hope it goes well and are there any suggestions?
