Default PDX Protune on 04WRX AccessPort --> able to be used on an '05WRX?

Hey guys,

I am looking into buying an 04WRX Cobb AP that has a PDX protune stage 2 map on it, which is the map I am looking to get anyway. I know that you can download software from Cobb to use an 04WRX specific AP on an 05WRX, but my question is, will the PDX protune work on my 05WRX as well? Just looking to see if anyone knows if it's possible.

I don't think it will, 04 and 05 maps are different. Even if you upgrade the Accessport, trying to flash a 04 map onto an 05 probably isn't a good idea.

The 04-05 maps use to be the same. Then people were experiencing idling/stalling problems(and maybe others), and they split them up. You might be able to get away with it, but I wouldn't risk it.
