Default Who's got the fastest Subaru in Houston?: Part II

Over 2 years later and I'm starting the exact same thread.. Things have changed since then, new turbos are out, ej257 swaps are more common, some different EM and shops have opened up, and even H6 swaps have appeared...

So i'm asking again, who's the fastest Subaru in Houston?

Note: that means both dyno queens and people with actual times (the later being cooler )

I should have clarified, sorry.

The fasest car in houston by definition, to me, should be the car with the CURRENT (not "oh it once did 1 year back on c16 but now does..") lowest time and highest trap. I want to compile a list of all the members on here in houston, who are willing, in a fastest time column and a highest trap column. Hopefully the guy with the highest trap will also have the lowest time ... It's kinda like documenting Subaru progress in H-town, and maybe spur some rowdiness so that we can all go to the track soon again..

Also, post what major projects are going on around town, like new setups, motorswaps, builds, anything in the works etc.

For those who only know their dyno, post your dyno #, we can have another column for highest dynoed guesstimating the differences between dyno dynamics, dynojet, etc. if there may be any...

I haven't seen every car in my neighborhood, but I'll venture a claim for fastest wagon. . . there is a silver WRX wagon a couple blocks over, but as I've never met him or seen him post, I'll risk the humiliation of being wrong. I can't claim fastest EJ205 in the hood 'cuz JLevy's bugeye sedan is probably faster than my wagon, judging by the work he's done.

And just to draw any local Saabaru owners out: Unless there is some psycho in a hopped-up 900 running 13.8 or better somewhere, and until some other 9-2x Aero owners speak up, I'll claim the fastest Saab in five counties

Give me a week or so. EL is about to ge their Protune stuff in so once they get that in, I'll be over there for another tune. With the heat the way it is, I'm not going to get a good 1/4 mile time with the mods that I have until winter. With my FXT acting up right now, that pretty much disqualifies me from the "post what it runs right now" because I simply do not know. I'm also not in the position of blowing up my transmission just for the sake of bragging rights. And I also know for a fact I don't have the fastest Suby in Houston.

But if you want my current best w/ no excuses: 12.48@111.7. I trapped as high as 114 with 70 degree weather when I first started running it after the mods, but it wasn't my best ET as I was learning how to launch it and learning shift points. This all on pump gas, no dry ice.

And 300.9 hp at the last EL dyno day. My FP green was only boosting 18 psi that day.
