Question Building a B4 Legacy - is this possible with a MY'00 Legacy? Pls help...

Hiya all. I'm in the market for a new Subaru, and I'm debating between the Impreza and the new Legacy. Actually, my first choice is Mike Jerry's RS, but I'm not sure I'll be able to sell my own car :-(

Anyhow, I saw the pictures folks posted of the B4 Legacy the other day and was intrigued. Is this something I could work towards with a US legacy? Would the B4 grill fit in the US grille's location? Would the hood and front spoiler fit? Are there suspension options for the Legacy to help it handle like it should?

Obviously, I'd be working with an EJ25, not an EJ20, but the EJ25 has proven to be a pretty capable motor, in my opinion.

Any help appreciated...

You are asking all the same questions I have been asking... except I am going for a GT-B, not B4 (wagon, ya know...)

I would ask Scott and SPO Motorsports. He has put the entire SYMS body kit on a 2000 GT sedan, and everything fits. And the B4 syspension (like the GT-B) is the Bilstein setup, so I think everything would work... you are just limited by cash...

And if you ask those of us that live in this forum which to buy, we will answer with a resounding: "LEGACY!!!"

Scott @ SPO is definitely the guy to ask about this. He built his own one of a kind Legacy, awesome. www.spomotorsports.com

From what Scott told me the US Legacy is wider than the Japanese spec car by about 1.5". I don't know if this is the track or the body.

Don't be suprised to find a car full of Clarion gear. If all goes well, the car will be SEMA.

Oh, I did notice the Clarion equipment when I sat in it. Did you have anything to do with it?

Check the challengerdeep website. They have some pretty sweet body kits for the new legacy (makes me wish I had a 2000). I think the one front end with the two round foglamps actually looks better than the standard b4rsk setup.
