Angry How Do I Remove Front License Plate Holder???

I tried unscrewing the plastic screws underneath it, that didn't do much! I tried unscrewing them so hard that i stripped them...

Any Ideas besides removing the whole bumper????

Those are not screws they are rivets and you will have to drill the out that's what I did to mine.

BTW you might carry the front plate still attached to the frame in case you get pulled over and then you can tell the cop that it fell off and you havent got the bracket yet to fix it, most will let you go with a warning and some will give you a corrections notice to show that its fixed. In Washington we have to run a front plate but I do just that and after the reinspection I just pull the plate back off.

Drill them out?!

(If I remember correctly) My front plate was simply held on with two bolts into two plastic nuts/rivets. They pretty much came right out... I may have had to apply a bit of unnatural pressure to get them out (prying with a screwdriver while turning the screws).

It came out with no hassle. I just screwed the screws back into the holes for safekeeping. I kept them and the bracket in case I ever move to a state that requires front plates.

It really shouldn't be a difficult thing to remove...

Well the must rivit them on out here to keep the front plate from being removed to easy, or the dealer installed it with rivets on mine because I know a rivet when I see one.
