Unhappy Help! Need Suspension info ASAP!

Okie so i finally got an entire weekend free from work. Garrick (RidinLow) is gonna be doing a suspension install on one of his cars and i decided that I might as well install my Eibach Prodrive springs too, to try them out - see if i like them.

Prob is: I want to get the KYB AGX struts, as IIRC I can use the same ones as the 99 RS??? Just don't tell the shop/store that I'm buying for a Legacy Gt right?

2nd, if that above is correct, what's to prevent me from using the STi inverted struts??? I only hear good things about those struts and would like to get those.

3rd, any other recommendations? Opinions? Be realistic: I'm a student, who works FT but i'm not made of money, the LEDA,DMS options, AREN'T...

Thanks much, oh btw, the reason for the ASAP is cause I need to order soon to get the struts in time for this weekend.

TIA

kyb agx for rs = kyb agx for bd legacy. the fhi struts should fit, too. if you're looking for the kyb's, www.p-s-t.com might have them and they're somewhat close to you so may be able to deliver them quicker than other places.

Do you have actual Prodrive/Eibach springs (3/4" drop) or Eibach Pro-Kit springs (1.5" or more drop). It's an important consideration. If you have the Pro-Kits, DON'T get AGX struts. At more than 1.5" down, their lifespans are shortened.

Perhaps someone else can more clearly delineate the differences between the Eibach Prodrive and Pro-Kit springs, aside from the drop. As far as I know, Mike Shields was the only guy who ever had the Prodrives available.

Question

I'm fairly certain i have the Prodrive ones. I Acquired them through Dave @ Metric Subaru. He told me he sourced this set of springs thru South Africa and they weren't the Pro-Kit US models. But again, I can't quite be rock solid sure they are... anybody have a clue how to figure out if i do have the Prodrive springs?

I got my P1 setup from Mike S.

here is one of the many pics for the lazy

If I'm not mistaken aren't these springs and struts (the P1 setup) sort of a matched set specific to the Impreza weight and such? Won't they be wonky on a Legacy? Just asking.
