Help! Need info about Legacy Struts ASAP

Okie so i finally got an entire weekend free from work. Garrick (RidinLow) is gonna be doing a suspension install on one of his cars and i decided that I might as well install my Eibach Prodrive springs too, to try them out - see if i like them.

Prob is: I want to get the KYB AGX struts, as IIRC I can use the same ones as the 99 RS??? Just don't tell the shop/store that I'm buying for a Legacy Gt right?

2nd, if that above is correct, what's to prevent me from using the STi inverted struts??? I only hear good things about those struts and would like to get those.

3rd, any other recommendations? Opinions? Be realistic: I'm a student, who works FT but i'm not made of money, the LEDA,DMS options, AREN'T...

Thanks much, oh btw, the reason for the ASAP is cause I need to order soon to get the struts in time for this weekend.

hey there...

use the KYB AGX part numbers for the Impreza...

they will work just FINE... i had them on my 99 GT

the Impreza #'s are:
RF 734006
LF 734007
RR 733010
LR 733011

those will suit your budget and you will like them!!! very much!

and yep.. the STiV struts will fit the Legacy, but not the springs..

i tried to fit an STI strut on my legacy, they dont fit, unless you design and make your own mount they will not fit, it is not worth the try, the STi strut will fit impreza, so better off getting a strut made for the legacy
