Default 91 vs 93 octane base map

So I picked up the StreetTuner and installed it. I figured I'd start with the Stage 2 base map, since I was running the st 2 93 map on the AP.

What are the differences between the 91 octane ST and 93 octane AP base maps?

In the 93 is there less fuel, more timing, more boost or a mix of these?

I am a tuning noob, so any guidance would be helpful. An ST mirror of the AP 93 map is obviously not my endpoint, but I'm just trying to get a vector (direction and magnitude) for changing tuning.

thanks,
pjc

Pull up the 93 and 91 maps and compare the tables in ST. My copy should be here today, so I'll look too and let you know what I find. I'm guessing a little more fuel, a little more advance on the timing, and maybe just a bit more boost.

Crap. I'm traveling and forgot the hasp key to open ST. So you can open *.ptb files into StreetTuner?

Also I will compare my AP datalogs to some yet to be acquired ST logs and go from there.

you can't open .ptb files, but cobb has the same maps for ST that they have for the accessport. Go to their webpage and download them from "street tuner downloads"

On the ST download page, they only have one stage 2 map that I can see. It says "originally designed for 91 octane." Is there another somewhere?

The ST maps are starting points for you to tune from. Because of this, only 91 octane maps are provided. I can send my 93 octane map to anyone who wants it. I have an 04 so if you do not have an 04 I can send you a screen shot instead.
