on top of steering collumn? if so - it turns on parking lights. US requirements are to be able to turn on lamps while car is off...silly if you ask me: why not incooperate into regular switch like everyother car?

Yeah, I just figured that out last night while looking at my reflection in another car.

Kinda goofy. I thought I could turn on the parking lights with the light switch.

What I really want is to be able to turn those darn day time running lights off. They are fine 99% of the time, but when I am moving the car in a camp ground or something, I don't want to be forced to blind everyone just because of the darn lights I can't turn off.
