Hey, the more the merrier.
Do you think it would be a good idea to go get some gaskets or can we use the 'old' ones?

I will take you up on your offer Kris.

I am in the NW but thought it would be more comfy to do it with a pit or hoist.

U-wrence in N.E. are open tomorrow and have all the tools needed.
All I have is a screwdriver. Nothing worth working with, plus my car is really really low, so no space under it.

Kris (06WRX) is in, you and me.

Need a spectator? I may come by depending on the time as I will need to do something similar later with a downpipe.

Sounds like a full house.

If you find yourself in a lurch tomorrow morning send me a PM and I'll swing by with jacks and everything to do the job.

No car is too low for me

doood I got a Jack and Two stands and all the tools required I dont mind doing it in your drive way if you want to save some money besides I can't wait to break in my new ratchet set I bought this week

Ill bring my camera too so we can document the install etc. I just reused the gastkets since they were so new when I did my exhaust.

Well I actually appreciate the offers to do it in my driveway.
However it is only 20 bucks to rent the hoist per hour so I will go to U-wrench tomorrow morning around 9am.
I don;t see any reason why I would do this on the ground if I can be more confortable in a workshop.

Anyways if any of you guys wanna join, I would be more than happy. It would be kind of cool to document the work as I/we go along.

If you think it is too much of a hassle to drive to the NE, I understand and will do this on my own no worries.

You can find my number in this thread in case you wanna call me.

Hope to see a few of you.

Address is to be found here: http://u-wrench.ca/

Oh just thought of it.

If anyone shows up tomorow and you have a video-camera. Bring it along so we can get the ScoobySound documented as well

I'll see if I can swing by for a bit. I have to make a run to the UPS store later if they're open.

Talking

ALL DONE.

Thanks a million to Kris for his help on this install. You rock man.

To those of you that are going to do this, that standard downpipe is a B#$@#.
Rest is easy.

The install of the new ScoobySport went smooth except we were missing a couple of bolts and nuts. U-wrench had some so we could finish the install.

Flashed with the AP to Stage 2, 91 oct. and vent for a coffee with Kris. Nice to see that we are equally fast (for now ).

LOVE THE SOUND OF THE SCOOBY.
Vincent 'stole' the video we needed, but we will do some shuts later.

Thanks to those who stopped by and helped out.
Next step, STi TMIC and VF39 P&P from Deadbolt.
