$65 for 5 pictures?! Good lord. Now I know how he (the photographer) sleeps at night. On a huge pile of cash.

Mmmm I dont think I have anymore online. Its a '05 suzuki sv650 though. Got it early last spring. Top speed? about 110 or so. But I wasnt really pushing it on the straights, I was more just trying to get used cornering at high speed and trying to (apparently unsuccessfully) get off the bike, etc. You think a track day in a car is fast? Try cornering with your head a foot or two off the inside curbs. (there were much tighter turns than where those were taken)

But yah, I know I have alot to work on. But there is alot of confidence building that needs to go on first.

Welcome to the club! It's really addicting (and unfortunately expensive, especially if you crash), but I think its well worth it. Anyway, I'm doing BHF July 1st/2nd and Autobahn full on the 3rd. You should come out!

It does take a while to get used to getting yer arse off the seat and hanging it out there.

I need to take my supermoto out on a track day sometime.

I've only ridden vintage motorscooters and mini GP bikes (Yamaha YSRs) on tracks. I've ridden BHF, Gateway international, BeaveRun kart track, Circleville Raceway Park and Fremont kart track.

I've had some sort of two wheeled toy since the age of 13 but never taken my big bikes on track. I've owned a cool Kawasaki S3 (400cc 2stroke triple...that was loud and fun!!!) a VFR 700 that was an ex-european touring bike (cool stickers from each country she visited) numerous Vespa/Lambretta and other Italian motorscooters (some I've raced) and now I've got my Suzuki DRZ400 Supermoto.

@ CRP a few years ago. The bike was racing was a Derbi GP1 w/a Malossi MHR 70cc kit. It was capable of about 85 on a long straight if it was set up correctly w/the right clutch roller weights. Very fast for 70 cc's. One race @ BeaveRun I was atleast 1/4 of the track ahead of 2nd place.

Here's a suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper old pic of me on a Vespa 135cc smallframe. I ground that kickstarter a bunch of times racing that bike.

Too bad I don't have any pics of the smallframe I build w/that motor. Hydraulic disk brake in front, coilover suspension front and rear, custom drop bars, fibreglass race seat...the whole shebang.

Someday I'll get my arse out for a big bike track day...right now I like going fast in my shifter kart.
