"a gallon of gas for every 235 miles of city driving" is the difference between 23.5 MPG and 26.1 MPG. It's not a huge difference but it'd add up.

actually, I took it completely out of context, it says that this is only the savings for the way they run the AC, I was trying to downplay the whole thing, but you caught me in my ruse..

Kinda cool I guess. Do the AC and stuff in current hybrids work when the engine is off? I would think so but I've never ridden in one.
