Fast rare cars...
Lots of them

Default Pics from the unofficial Wednesday mini-meet at Mirror Lake

AKLGT, Mavrik, ffspeedfreak, Dentdude, and I were all there, so I guess it counts as a mini-meet. I'm not sure whose SVX that was, but I want it.

well I heard on the radio around 5:30 that there was a series of accidents at ER so I called hope and told her traffic was backed up to anchorage. It was still backed up to anchorage by the time we left town to head out there around 7:30 and it was bumper to bumper all the way beyond Hiland road but we detoured on hiland.

And the weather was poor to.

The news said there a bike and an SUV but didn't say how serious so that probably got cleared up pretty quick.

all that traffic was just from bottle necking.. people wanting to gawk at the accident. if it was off the road, there was no need for the back up, just people wanting to see what happened...

not too bad a show, but looked like a lot of cars had left or left shortly after we arrived.

if hearing someone on a bike getting hit by an SUV scares you... are you forgetting Shawn?

And doesn't matter how responsible you are in your own car or on a bike, accidents happen thanks to those around you.

I also Heard EERO gave the Drive show a decent run for its money. As far as organization and vehicles being displayed. I think its nice to see we DO have that many motorheads up here to be able to put on 3 shows in a weeks time, and have such a following.

I have to tell you Hope, I never liked that blue when I saw it in the showroom or on the street but your car always looks really nice. The drop, grill and now your wheels and even your decals really compliment that color.

Yeah I was stuck in that traffic too, but took hiland exit on the way back to the valley. I used to own an SVX just like that...first car...bad ass car...I've talked to that lady before. She has owned since it was new and has had mulitple paint jobs on it. She must maintain it pretty good. Last time I talked to her was about 4 years ago and the car had 155k. I want another SVX...maybe someday.

Surprising, since that pearl white is expensive paint to lay down.
