Default anyone here work at a dealership? i have a question

if a car is leased, is the person leasing the car allowed to mod it as long as they purchase it or put the car back to stock at the end of the lease?

I'm pretty sure that nothing is stated about modifications, just what condition the vehicle needs to be in when returned. If your going to buy the car out when the lease is up, I don't see it as an issue. If you're not keeping the car, maybe a discussion with the dealer that you'll return it to is in order. Take care!

Post Mods & Leasing

I'm trying to remember the exact print, but it's somthing like, you can mod it, but upon return either take off the mods or get this... pay for them to return the car to stock!!

Anyone back me up on that?

One reason I ended up financing.

Peace,
Oqui

Default dont lease, smart buy it.

I work at central subaru in texas. Anyways on your lease question , dont lease do a smart buy. It is structured like a lease but it is actually titled in your name instead of the banks like in a lease. After the 48 months is up you can do 1 of 3 things, you can turn it in like a lease and pay a 250 disposal fee or you can refinance the residual amount, or the remaining balance or just stroke a check and its yours. The reason its better too is their are no early termination fee's and you can trade out of it if you want also you can choose between 12k and 15k.I hope that helped.

Talking

when you lease a vehicle it is like renting an apartment. anything you add has to either be taken off or left on but you lose any money you paid for the mods. so it would make sense to remove anything that you have paid for
