Default UR Pulley questions, Need help quick

I just installed an Unorthodox Racing Underdrive Pulley on my auto MY01. I got it from T.Rod...who has an manual....the belts don't fit....it causes slipping on the power steering pulley, causing a REALLY nasty sound....What could remedy this? a smaller belt?

The alternator is has high as possible and the belts are still loose.

Andres

Generally when installing underdrive pullies you are required to install smaller belts. That is probably why you have what you have.

Well you said that you already have the adjustment maxed out. You might as well go for a even smaller belt, you still have some play left in the adjustment to do so.

But if you *think* you have the rights belts.. You may want to make sure that everything is on in the right places. Perhaps you have the wrong belt on in the wrong place? Or something along those lines.

I am just going to try a 33" belt I think I tried 32.5"....too small...the other one is 33.5" I just couldn;t find it at this hour though. Should the belts be this different on an auto and a manual.....or does it have to do with ones a MY01 & the other is a MY00....

I found them at O'Reilly's they are k050330 from Gates, so far they are te only brand that makes 33" belts in 5 grooves. In all of Austin, only one place has them and they only have one.

Alright Brian, I went and bought that belt....didn't work, it was to short. I tried a 335 and it worked fine...the one Toby (t.rod) gave me was a 336 and was probably strecthed because the new one fits very tight.
