Question 97 ob?

Hey,
My brother is looking to get in to a 97' Outback he saw for sale but he says it is a 2.5L Standard transmission. I thought 97' outbacks were all automatic. Its priced real low, 12k with only 40K miles on it. Anyone know for sure?
Thanks...

I looked at my 97 brochure and it says both the manual and auto were available in all models. 97 was the year all of the OB's got the 2.5 I think.

Peaty is right, the 97 Outback came in an automatic and stardard transmission, both are 2.5L
