Default Twin turbo WRX

Has anyone thought of building a twin turbo?

Use the stock turbo to spoolup a monster size turbo? Like a T04E or big Garret?

The rally WRX uses a twin turbo setup, and I saw in the diagram for my boost controller from Apex a setup for a twin turbo on a EJ20 WRX motor.
Why hasn't anyone done that?

Bill

Sounds like an awesome idea.. But, yea.. the costs would probably be huge. Is there enough room on the right side of the engine compartment to place two turbos? Would you have to relocate the intercooler to the front?

Just me thoughts/questions about it. . .

One of the companies that I've talked to (who also sells the link) has a TT STi...however...its not in the sti frame and body...its all custom...They just get the motors and mess with them.
