Thumbs up

Hey Ken- looks good! How do you like your lights? Are you pleased with the brand and the wattage? How come you replaced the factory fogs, was it just for a general upgrade?

Cool

Hi Rich,

Thanks for replying...I love my lights they are awesome...I took out my factory OEM fog because even if I put 100 watts Hyper white H3's they didnt cover enough area...so I took it out put a pair of cuzo fogs that has a wide beam and angled it slightly outwards...now I can see my sides most definetly and maybe even deers that lerk behind bushes!
I'm not a brand name guy when it comes to fog, because in the past I has PIAA's and CATZ and they always some way or another get stolen...so I put my research on bang for the buck and Cuzo aux. lights are just that looks, performance, and price...of course, I had to change their factory 55 watter any replaced it witha more intense 100 watts H3 !!!
So Rich, Do you have any upgrades that you think I might be interested in doing before I add Rallispecs Stage II turbocharger?

dude, that's a sweet looking GT. I think I've seen you screaming down Colesville Rd. towards Silver Spring. how do you like the Eibachs? Do they bump/rub any? I'm running stock springs w/ AGX, didn't want the drop for the DC streets, but would love to see how you pro-kit rides.

800 Watts? Man, you could land a UFO!

Exclamation

Hello Gumball,

My Eibach's are fine...but I could only set it at (1 fr, 2 rr) or (2 fr, 4 rr)...if I go any stiffer my front will start to bottom out...I have set it at 3 fr, 6 rr and 4 fr, 8 rr, which has scary handling, but going through pot holes and turning into corners with a hump or entering another street with a slight incline definitely makes my car bottom out...mostly on my right side, if you see my car at 9310 georgia ave. in front of CTL video center I'll be painfully happy to show you the results of bottoming out...I'm going to replace my Eibachs Pro Kit springs with H & R, it will lower it more, but it will also be stiffer so I can set my KYB's at 3 fr, 6 rr or maybe 4 fr, 8rr "I hope" with no problems!!!

Is anyone interested in purchasing a used set of Eibachs new is around $200 to $250, so I will sell mine for $100 or $125, and I'm also selling my 18mm rear swaybar that I got from SPD with bushing new is $175 to $200...my used one will sell for $90 to $100!!!

Both have been used for less than one year!!!

Cool

Lookin good!! Looks different from the last time I saw you. I was the guy at Car Trenz with the white lowered GT. Keep up the good work!! I still have to ask you, though. Are you having any alternator problems with the system and the lights? Because I used to run an 800W stereo system with two 1 farad capacitors and I still killed my stock alternator!!!! Have to get rid of the subs and one of the amps.

Hi Ken,

Nice car. I also remove the OEM fog light too. My setup is different than yours. I have Hella optilux round driving light in middle and Hella 550ff rectangle (ebay US$40) amber on the side. Compared to stock, 55W is a hugh improvement.

Why you are selling the Eibachs? You are going to get H&R? What about sway bar? get a adjustable one?

Hello fellow suby owners,

Answers to Etam's ?'s:

I want to sell my Eibach so I can buy a stiffer spring...everyone is ramping and raving that H & R springs are stiffer (25-30%)..then and only then can I set my KYB to 3 or 4 fr and 6 or 8 rr, without bttoming out like I do now!!!

Swaybar I have already changed from SPD's 18mm swaybar to Cusco's 21mm adj...so if anyone one wants used 18mm swaybar and used Eibach pro kit springs (maybe) let me know!!!

Answers chrisC's comments:

Yes...I was Crazy enough to buy an automatic sue me...but it was suppose to be my family car...got married last year and on 10/20/2000 had my first baby girl...but during the marriage and wait I was toying around with the car and then ended up modifying up the whazoo!!! AT is a nice city and traffic trans. and a turbocharged AT is better than an OEM trans. any day!!! As for a family car...I just got a used 1995 toyota landcruiser...and guess what...TRD has a superchargerfor it too that pushes the truck over 300 +hp...What am I...CRAZY!!!

Thanks for the replies,

Crazy Ken
