Default 98 RS with 2002 WRX Swap

Hi,

I'm about to purchase a 1998 Subaru RS with a 2002 WRX swap.

I help my friend swap in the Engine, Tranny, Diff etc last year, and then he had to wired up using the RS/WRX harness and some cutting/soldering. The only issue is that the gas gauge does not work 100%, and I think that is due to the sending unit in the car and how the wiring was done.

Anything I should be worried about, or should look for?

Thanks!

In what respects? I understand they are weak if I try to beat the crap outta it when shifting. I don't plan on making tons of power with this car, so I should be okay. *I hope*

Of course you will need to be careful... what I meant was that the previous owner may not have been a shifting angel. Check out the tranny in depth, it needs to be smooth, stock clutch is also a good indicator of less abuse. Aftermarket clutches plus more power equals tranny pain
