Default Accessport for NA from COBB?

I cracked open my Subiesport today and in the Zero to Hero section I find several references to an N/A Accessport. Apparently COBB used Subiesport's project as a test bed.

Looking forward to more info soon.

Come on it's at least worth one banana, right?

I wonder if the price will be less, as there will be less of a HP yield for an NA.

I know it won't work for my 98... I don't have reflashable memory in my ECU.

The article on the ZtH car in the August issue is just the beginning for this phase of development. If all goes according to plan we'll have all the tuning complete on the car by the next issue.

The new issue hits booksellers on the first week of July. Or, get them here: http://www.carzines.com

They all shipped last week, if you do not get it by next week, you can contact us at info@mediaspigot.com and we'll get you specifics. NASIOC threads are not the place to discuss it, however.

And we dont have power numbers yet, as the focus on this months article was really the headwork. Tuning and results are in the following one (plus, we just re-installed the engine last week, so I really dont know yet...but our target is pretty high.)

To eliminate any rumors, we're tuning with a beta version of the AP that will be available this fall. It's for 2005-2006 RS and 2.5i N/A Subarus. Further details weren't available at time of press, but will appear in the October issue. (subscribers will receive around mid-August)

The 05+ NA ECUs are similar to those in the WRX/STI, so the ECU tweaking was similar to what they'd done for those models. Earlier models use a much different ECU, and don't plan on seeing anything from Cobb to reflash them anytime soon.

At least some NA peeps are going to get some reflash love.

Yeah, but if you want to raise redline, there aren't a lot of other options--sans going full stand-alone.

I-Speed reflash does and if you sign on the dotted line. They will raise it more.
Also, I have a friend in KC and just got reflash software that will reflash the RS ECU. I am looking to make a trip there as he also has an AWD dyno.
