I didn't mean anything by it, I just suppose a wider wheel would look better, even my own car, I wish I had 17's. Too much sidewall. But you can't beat free.

They are only available on the Impreza Outback sport wagon. They are 16x6.5 with a 55mm offset, Identicle to the 06-07 Wrx only not 17's. They are made by Enkei. They are a very close fit with the brakes in the front so I used a 2mm spacer.

I agree with that. I would have loved to get some JDM BG wheels (they are 17's), or something nicer, but this brake upgrade killed my wallet. A LOT more spent than expected.
I think the camera sucks or something, because I think its a crappy pic. They really do go well with the 2 tone paint in real life...IMO.

Doublecheck the 8"? I thought they were 6.5"...did you need any spacers to make them fit over the 4 pots?

It's cool to have another option besides the RS 7" rims...

Your right, I have no idea why I typed 8". Ill edit it.

As far as fitting, they were just barely rubbing (shaving paint), so I got a 2mm spacer, and have plenty of room. The rears would have been fine w/out one, but to keep the stance the same I used them. I bought them at Advanced Auto for $5 each. They scare me, I am afraid my wheels will fall off. I have never used spacers before.
I probably could have used a dremel and ground off a little on the inside of the spoke, but didnt.

bumper:The fenders length was too low, but the bumper can stretch around it. I pushed the bumper all the way back til the mounting holes lined up. Had to cut/widen where the bumper mounts fit thru. Also dent a brace in front of radiator inward. That way no extensions needed and tire arcs lined up.
