Wow, I really like those mods, MoclovFlop!!!! The roof spoiler *rocks* on that body style.
Question - which WRX roof vortex generator, specifically, did you use? |

I will very likely try that out on my BL in the coming month or two. I had a deposit down with a LGT.com Vendor for a $400+ CF rear splitter project, but decided to withdraw because the final prototype did not meet what I thought would have been the aesthetics that they were going form. I'm not shy about spending money on my baby, but when something just didn't look "right," the price tag was hard to stomach. And I don't mind DIY. ![]() |

Since the car is so long inside (I can put my 207 skis inside with the hatch closed and can still shift) I figured I didn't need the weight up high nor the aero drag. ![]() I need to rehost some pics of my wagon. ![]() |

![]() so you want your huge ass Koyo Radiator to fit in a non turbo lego with a giant FMIC??? ![]() test fit, cut, test fit, repeat 37 times ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() APS 525 FMIC kit. i think it is the only APS kit on this geration of legacy in the USA. not much bumper left..... i couldnt trim anymore or there would be fmic sticking out. 05 STI engine PE 16/16 turbo 816cc injectors, perin; over flow, intake, short ram, fuel rails, Koyo rad, flexolite fan, APS 525 FMIC full 07 STI drive train, KW coilovers, sways, all new laterallinks, trailing arms, endlinks that are all ball bearing with dust covers made 300/337 on 17psi. with the new FMIC boost will be upped to 19psi. |

I'm not sure how the radiator mod fit into that. Is that the lower hose connection that you modified? Got any pics that show why you needed to do that? And what is that Koyo radiator you're running?
Oh, and the front mount looks pretty damn good. Nice job with the fitment! Pat |

yea, the FMIC piping sits right in front of the Rad inlet to the hose for the water pump. and since the FMIC pipe bolts to the manifold there really wasnt any other choice.
i do not have any pictures of where the conflict was. i did the install, the car isnt mine. IMO the bumper doesnt fit right but i did the best i could. here you can see how the FMIC is trying to pull the bumper away. ![]() |

91 Wagon with 310,000 miles when I sold it.
I flogged the crap out of this thing. Fuel tank would only hold 10 gallons because it was so dented in and I had to sledgehammer the floor down a couple times. Had it in water over the windshield once too ![]() Still got a solid 26-27mpg and drove nice and straight. ![]() ![]() |
