buy it back from the wrecker after its totaled out and strip it of parts and then sell the body as scrap after. people dont realize they can do this and make back SOOOO much money, i mean, engine, trans, probably fine, interior (i think yours was a limited right? leather seats) get it all back and sell it or have parts for the next legacy... plus all your suspension... your wheels and tires... dont let it all go to scrap!

I'm getting the wheels back today and putting my snowflakes back on just in case. I want to make SURE I get the wheels back at the very least. I'm going to try to work with insurance to let me take all my aftermarket stuff back and give them the stock parts without buying it backl

I just picked up this 05 LGT Wagon. It's one owner was a 70 yr old retired couple with 88K on it. The car is in mint condition. It has the 5eat and seems to run great. I plan to do a full tune up.

They are fogs. I haven't really had to use them yet.

Shes a work in progress, she will be repainted to Subaru Rally (Mica) Blue within the next few months with an ej257 swap. Interior work is nearly done though. Build thread: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2423080

What'd you need to do to make the seats fit??

The front 2 bolts lined up fine, the back two are a different story. I wanted to use the newer railes because I liked the design better than the old rails and I wanted the height adjustable function. Some writeups and DIYs (http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulle...-05-fxt-53052/) will show you how to fit 08+ seats into pre 08 subaru's by moving the new seats to your old rails and this wasn't an option for me. Fitting these seats into my OBW wasn't hard though. The aft outboard hole on the rail had to be filed, perhaps 1/2 inch, forward to fit. The aft inboard hole is several inches from pre-existing holes but a simple drilled hole through the floor, with a few spacers, and a nut to fit the existing hardware made the fitment easy. I don't have pictures of this atm, but I will have some and will likely write a DIY for it soon. One thing of note is that the seat belt buckle that came off the old seats had a stud with nut where the new seats require a bolt but the old buckle is usable on these seats. Overall I am extremely happy with the swap, I picked up the seats for $400 when they only had 5k miles on them.

Howdy folks,

New to the LGT forum, but not to Nasioc or Subaru. Some of you guys know me and already know about my new (to me) ride. I sold my 2010 SWP WRX over a year ago, knowing I would be back in a 'similar' model as soon as I could afford it.

2 days ago I picked up a 007 LGT LTD. 46,500 on the odo. It has a Cobb rear sway but beyond that seems to be stock. And cleeeeeean. Show room clean.

I'll post up some pics when I get home, work computer won't let me...

Going to try to meet up with our local tuner this week and just shoot for stg2 right out the gate.

Edit: Home from work, here is the best pic I have so far, imho.

-Tom

^^^ Thanks C, I am pretty damn stoked myself. As I said, my local tuner is already twisting my arm for stg2 so... ya. I'll be keeping my build thread on a local forum, but will update as things progress.

Took my new (to me) LGT to our local weekly meet and had our tuner plug it in to his laptop. He didn't have the right plug to data log with but he said my fuel trims were off, same as his xt when he bought it. He guessed by the numbers that there is a small boost leak somewhere, more than likely the 'known tmic endtank leak', again same as his xt when he bought it. He replaced his with an 08 wrx tmic and everything has been dead on since. So, now I am shopping for a new/used tmic. If anyone runs across a screaming deal, preferably on the west coast, shoot me a link. Thanks.

^^^ I think I have a stocker lined up from a seller on LGT. If so I will be bulletproofing it and swapping it in. Thanks. Will go aftermarket eventually but for now I just want everything dialed in as far as stock #'s are concerned.
