Looks really good. I have always thought the tail lights were a little too light of a red. I think when I end up doing this Im going to open up the light housing and just repaint the red pieces. Something to look forward to when the weather clears up!

Thanks man! And painting the red peices won't really do anything in my opinion, its gonna look the same still when you're done if you do that, its the outer lens of the tail light that needs painted because its clear and you can see the lines on the back of it. If you know what I mean. You can try it, I just think it would look the same as when you started.

LookAsubie: My buddy has the top mount like that. It was a huge upgrade. The stock crimped plastic end tanks were leaking at a couple of the crimps. Boost leaks are no fun. Now he's ripping it up.

Kongzilla: Holy sleeper! That looks great! I wouldn't have expected to see a front mount on that wagon.

Yeah I was told that same thing about the stock intercooler eventually separating and causing leaks so I decided to upgrade, plus it was the next upgrade my car needed.

And it's a torque solutions. Basically a knock off of the Perrin/process west. Total was $400 shipped with black thermal coating. Seems to be quality made but fitment was a real bitch.

I first installed it all by myself but I didn't use the plastic gasket/spacer it came with and it was rubbing on my master cylinder cap and a bolt on the slave cylinder was rubbing on the underside of it. I could feel it in my clutch when driving around.

So tonight I took it off and re did it using the gasket thing, and got it to quit rubbing on stuff, but holy hell did it suck. Took like 3hrs with 3 guys because that hose from the intercooler to throttle body slipped off so we had to start over. You have to configure that hose just right and even then it took some serious prying and pushing to get the bolts to line up on the turbo side. Just glad I got it all back together.

Going in for a protune on Wednesday at Cobb tuning surgeline. Pretty excited.

Did some work to the car today, lots of PlastiDip. Did the wheels, the badges in the back, the window trim, and the grill. Came out very nice! I am looking for either a tail light cover, or something to black out my tail lights without having to paint them. If anyone knows of where I can get something for a 2013 3.6R please let me know!

I finished up a lot of little projects this week.

Color matched Hellas, HID fogs, put the rack basket on, new mesh in grille, replaced CV axle, oil change, and rolled 200,000 miles. All that in the last 3 days.

Hey TGT323, I love the plastidip! I came across a DIY for tinting the tails on the LGT site. It seems pretty straightforward and quite a few guys have been pretty satisfied with the results. Here's the link:

Post some pics if you end up doing it.

unfortunately not yet, err, again? it used to be boosted (several different platforms (wrx block, STi block, 2 or 3 different turbos) and setups) but when i bought it from Bad Wagon it was just a shell, it currently has full 98 outback drivetrain but the front mount was customized to fit the bumper i have on there so he left it for me to use later (and by later i mean soon now, im looking to do an EZ30 Supercharged.) so ive just kept it, it looks really dumb without it so i just always deal with the questions. it'll get used soon
