You know those Torques clear a lot of the BBK's out there. Just looking for clarification since you stated you would need 2 sets of rims. The four pots fit under a few of the factory Subaru wheels as well.

For a nice fairly cheap brake upgrade good pads, fluid, and stainless lines will make the brakes a bit better. Then WRX or LGT stuff up front, vented rears,... move up from there.

Gold BBS's would look a verreh niiiiiccccee.

Like say... 6 pot Wilwoods, mr. big spender?

I would suggest something like Hawk HPS or Axiss Ultimates (if you don't mind a LOT of dust) for an aggressively driven streetcar. I haven't tried the Porterfield R4S (street compounds) yet, but I haven't heard anything bad about them from any subaru owner thus far...

I don't like the red calipers. Go silver or black if you are really going to do it.

+1. i DO like red calipers, but that shade clashes with the red that's on your car's body too much.

what about going with gold calipers?

I think silver would be a good choice. Maybe a pale gold; I don't think a deep gold would be ok as they would be too similar to brembo colors.

If you're going to paint, I would highly recommend the two part epoxy paint over the ones in the car; much more durable and the finish is much nicer. It's a little more involved than spraying, but you will not have to reapply as often, if ever.

Actually I don't have JDM tails...they are stock with ambers...I guess the lights make it look that way. the license plate is lit with LED's.

umm... the bottom red portion of the tail lights (below the reverse and signal lights)? if so, they don't light up. The corners have the rear reflectors there.
