Hellas...

I still haven't gotten my bumper.

To be honest, spencer, it looks kinda ghetto, but I'm sure the function is there.

However this is the most recent addition

yeah, it's just spraypainted black. I didn't do it, though; the only thing I've done to the car so far is fix the clock on the headunit

totally stock. picked it up about a month and a half ago. my first subie, btw. bone stock. oh, and if you're having a hard time telling from the pic, it's timberline green. i'm actually surprised how many complements i've gotten on the color.

i have some plans for it, but most are gonna have to wait. saving up money to get an sr20det for the 240 first.

anyway, glad to be a new part of the legacy family of the revered subaru clan.

Spent all day yesterday cleaning. Wash, claybar, wash, paint cleaner, polish, wax. Yeah, my arms are shot. Here's some pics:

Loving those gold rims, Mitch. Three good looking Legacy sedans in a row. :P

Here's a few pictures of mine:

So far I've just got some tint, cleared corners, and JDM tails but hoping to get rims soon.

Thanks, Mark. The compliments mean a lot and lately I've gotten a few in public which kind of suprised me since I really didn't expect them. It makes me want to do a lot more stuff to my car.

That is my favorite BE. The wheels suit the car just perfectly.

Got some cool lighting last night.

The forester rims and such look so clean, but you have to do something about those lights...

i've been debating with myself about those more than anything else. sometimes i hate the way that the fogs stick out on the corners, and sometimes i like the way they look when they're lit up so much that i don't care. i've been trying to get them mounted deeper into the bumper, but i can't do that without getting a custom bracket made, and for that kind of cost i'd rather just get new lights.

the current thought is to either continue the JDM theme and go with the JDM fogs,

OR

go with Hella Micro DEs, and take advantage of the remaining space by running some air hoses to the brakes and such. this might also be a better option than the JDM fogs if i ever do decide to go turbo because it would give me more room for a front mount. either way, i haven't really decided yet.

Unless you're an insane racer like Pat, I doubt you'll ever need to have brake-fade protection like you suggested. If you're going for clean looks (which most of the car suggests) then I would get the JDM fogs. They aren't so shabby when it comes to good lighting.

Thanks mang. I actually get that a lot about the second picture, lol

Mitch,

I can never decide. I think i like it more without, but every now and then I think about putting it back on. Last time i did it, i took it off after a few days and its been in the basement ever since...

I dunno, different angles it looks better than others
