I am going to get a body shop to do it, but from what I can tell the installation will require some drilling. Is this correct?
I see the back of the sideskirts I bought have small plastic pins. I am assuming the body shop will have to drill holes into my car so that the pins can clip into the car and hold the sideskirt, correct? ![]()

2.6i sedan right?
yes you will need to drill holes to fit properly pins clip into grommets which are drilled and fit into the car on the sides underneath, same scenario with 6 clips snapped into 6 grommets beneath the car there is also one plastic clip at the very front of each sideskirt to fit properly it's a little work, nothing too challenging Jamie ![]() |

Yes, 2.5i sedan. Thanks for the useful info. I will get a subaru dealer to do it. What about rust prevention once the holes are drilled? I am pretty sure the are going to be drilling into metal, correct? But on the other hand the grommets will be covering the holes... Last edited by Paraskass; 06-28-2006 at 10:16 AM. |

This is sounding damn complicated and the body shops want to charge me a lot for the installation.
I don't know what to do. |

Make sure you tell the shop that they are clip on stock skirts not aftermarket fiberglass ones.
