Default Anyone know a good place to get a rear wheel bearing replaced for a good price

Well my right rear wheel bearing is shot, and the stealership quoted me 450 for one side. local shop quoted me about 250. Anyone know anyone that can hook me up?

Why about posting for help in the DIY Garage Day thread? How much is the wheel bearing by itself?

wheel bearing should run between 80-100 bucks. although, if it is really bad, you will need a new hub also ($120), as well as new seals, inner and outer. plus, it's a good idea to replace your axle nut while you're at it.

I got mine done at DSG, and was fairly pleased with their work.

My local Carquest machine shop charged me $40 or $45 (don't remember which) to press my last one in and install the seals. I pulled the whole knuckle and brought it to them with a new bearing and seals.

You'd drive up to VT to save $25? You'll easily spend that in gas... lol
