Default Bigger Turbo

Alright, how about this...I have an IHI RHF55 turbo thats installed on my Rex. I only run a max of 15psi (for now...hehe). I suppose that if I run more boost than stock and damage the motor than the warranty is voided. However if I run stock boost will my engine still be covered? Thoughts???

The fact that you have an aftermarket Turbo is pretty much a guarantee that your warranty will be voided no matter what boost you run.

that's the warranty on the powertrain, not the other things. Just make sure you can work on your own car.

Both are correct. Aftermarket turbo will void the entire powertrain warranty, but the warranty for the other parts of the car (interior/exterior) remains in effect.

It won't "void" anything but it will probably lead to warranty claims on at least the engine being denied.

I'd bet they'd even say anything with the tranny due to extra power you are making...best bet ...something goes wrong, put your stocker back in.

Curious as to what turbo you are thinking of adding to run the same boost but have a larger turbo? seems to me that this would cause a longer spool up time and decreased performance anyway
