Question Dunlop SP 5000??

Anybody have any experience with these tires? I need a set of respectable summer/winter tires for a little while.. The RE92 are horrible tires for everything.. I am eventually going to get some real summer tires and some Advan RG's.. But untill the money comes for the RG's and some real rubber (probably another year or so..) I'll need some better tires for the factory wheels.. Also, and I'm sure this one's been asked a million times, but is a 225 50 16 too wide? Thanks!!
