Try Kroger, I know they have Corn Fuel just 5 blocks away from me here in Irving, TX (DFW)

I'm doing my research on what does it for my car to be able to use E-85

Edit:
Sorry.. I guess HEB is the only stores that might carry E-85.

Is it worth the price for a renewable gas to be only 20% less than non renewable of E-10 gasoline w/ 20% more fuel to burn (Cost wise)?

I looked at last time it was $2.55 for E-85 while other gas station is $2.75 for 87 or $2.93 for 93 here in DFW.

I'm just trying to calculate whether the investment (I need injectors, another tuning, maybe new fuel pumps, new stainless lines) would be beneficial for me in the long run.

if our cars can run e-85 that would be great. the cost may only be 20% less, but the price is going to most likely decrease in the future when output picks up. the best thing about this fuel is that the price will be more stable than conventional oil. its renewable and we should not be dependent on oil.

Yeah but right now it's barely cheaper than petrol and it's a fact that cars that run on eth get less mpg than on petrol. So in the long run I bet you pay as much or more to drive on it right now. I guess it's a way to set an example right now, but not economical(yet).

http://www.e85fuel.com/index.php

Great site for information. They don't list phone #s, though you can cross reference those. I did this to find out when CleanFuelUSA started selling E85 in SATX.

I believe it will be at least 2 months before the HEBs start selling.

Edit: dromango, great thread to read if you haven't seen it yet.

I stayed awake till about 3 am yesterday - re-reading that thread from the beginning.

Lots of good info there.

E-85 price is on the HIGH side Vs. Unleaded E-10 /87
Last time, Kroger in Irving was 2.55 Vs 2.79 87 Unleaded.
About 10%-20% cheaper than unleaded here in DFW.

I think I'm going to try to run 30% max of ethanol on my STi.
Maybe a mixture of 4 gal E-85 Vs. E-10 for the remaining.
Then I'll be running Stg 2 Safe mod on the STi and use the safe map and only run 10 psi for street Obviously, the target would be to perfectly run Stg. 2 w/ E-85

Wish me luck on my quest.
It's exciting to see Stg. 2 STi running E-85 at the local track day
