Question Phase I or II??

Hi there,

I have a 97 GT but got a new short block January 1999 (under warranty with less than 20000km; it was noisy when started in cold but went away after warm up). How can I tell if I have a Phase I or II block? Any serial number I can check?

thanks,

etam

Oh great, ANOTHER Phase I tale of woe! I might as well shop for a new car (warranty's up). Do tell, what happened to your block?
