Tein S-Tech springs will be for sale possibly by Saturday.
These springs are originally made for GC8 chassis(93-01) but will also work on the WRX as demonstrated by my car. These springs are very comfortable springs without the harshness of some other springs. Comparable to ride comfort to the Eibach springs. Lowers the car approximately close to 1.5"-2".

I can vouch for what David is saying...I've got them on my 2001 RS and they are comfortable. Nice mix between handling and ride quality.

I will have mine for sale for the lucky party that does not get David's. I have a 2k1 RS with the identical springs that I will be returning to stock to sell in the next few weeks. Don't feel bad (Marcin or AScooby) I will sell you mine for the same price. Of course only after Dave sells his

Marcin, shouldn't you be saving your money to get that turbo installed and to buy a new tranny when you break it?

haha Andrew haha
Thanks for being my good luck charm. AScooby25rs: Tell you what, I will not need the springs until next year when the snow is gone. Go ahead and get them. My voice of reason (Andrew) have spoken. Off to tirerack to get Blizzak's... unless there is some group buy for winter tires on the board... Voice of Reason Speak Now .... (next post will be made by andrew) Speak Last edited by Marcin; 10-19-2001 at 12:50 AM. |

Mike,
Any springs made for the GC8 chassis will fit the WRX but having different spring rates can affect lowering, ride quality, handling, etc... I chose my Tein S-Techs initially for my WRX after comparing the stock WRX spring rates with the Teins and found them to be very similiar. Basically any springs for the GC8 will fit but whether they work is another story based upon the particular spring rates amongst other things. |
