Question Rallycross

Well I followed the link on Subiegal's page and saw the pics of her car at rallycrossing. Kewl!

So now I want to know- how does one get in on this? Looks like an expensive hobby...am I right? I wouldn't be able to go nuts with mods, but I could spruce the car up a little.

Just curious. (BTW Jamie, the page is way cool.)

You don't really have to mod the car at all... The green wagon that she has a few pics of is mine...

My first RallyX was bone-stock, and I did fine. But if you want to mod your car a bit, the best place to start is suspension improvements, that way you can stay in PGT ("Production GT", basically "stock" class for a Subaru). Any "engine" mods push you into Open, this includes intakes.

Otherwise, the RallyX's around here are cheap, $20 for 4 points-runs, and $2 for fun runs. As far as finding a group that does it, you'd have to look around, or maybe someone else can chime in...
