Default Install this weekend in Edmonton?

So, since I'm staying in town this weekend I'm thinking about finishing my P&P project - the headers.
I just got my turbo inlet as well so I'll probably do both things on the weekend. I'll probably do it at my shop (lots of space and a compressor, not a whole lot of tools.)
Because I've heard the inlet is easier to install with the manifold removed, I may do that and delete my TGVs while it's off and I'm grinding anyways.

Anyone want to lend a hand or maybe install some of their own parts? I hear the turbo inlet is a real PITA and I'm still not positive on how to hook up all the connections on a Perrin hose.

Zuffy: Maybe we can finally do something about your splitter.

Any interest, or is everyone taking off this weekend?

The Perrin inlet can be squished in, although you'll have to cut your stocker. The Samco and APS inlets require the removal of the intake manifold.

That's what my research has uncovered, but if I'm porting/polishing anyways...and if the turbo inlet would be easier to install with the manifold off, I might as well remove it and do those TGVs!

Any tips?

My tip is to get an APS or Samco one if you're o.k. with taking off the manifold.

This coming from a guy who doesn't have either ,

perrin is PERFECTLY fine, the samco and the perrin are pretty close, except for a few fitting differences,

if you are gonna take it off to do the TGV's, get the perrin, plenty of people have had it, including me, with nooooo problems whatsoever

Mechanical virgin here. Hoping to change that in the near future. Heading to B.C. for vacation right away but will be back in time for the Grand Prix. PM me or fire me an e-mail next time you have a project. I wont be anything more than an extra set of hands but I would love to help and more importantly maybe learn something. Ahh who am I kidding, I lack the capacity to learn but I love shiny things...
