I disagree. A H6 with that sort of power will be very usuable on a track/ street environment. It would be like a GT35R on a 2.5 ltr. But yes he will break slot of things, drivetrain and gearbox wise.

While I'm sure all of these have been mentioned:

Buy an eagle talon, get 1000whp and have 20k in your wallet
Buy a c5z, build motor, custom turbo kit etc, Get to your goal without even pushing the envelope.
OR buy an 03/04 cobra and do a hellion compound induction setup.

I'm sorry, but there's so many cooler setups you could do, other than drop it in a Subaru. Not to mention, the car would literally be for show only. Without a cage is even more hilarious. What's the fastest car this person has ever driven? I rode in a nitrous, E85 stock blower cobra (655/800 hp/tq) converted to an auto, and that thing was a goddam time warp.

WOW, back from the dead. Its funny to look back at what we all thought we knew about stuff five plus years ago. The industry and the community have gotten so much better at this game. We also know its silly to talk about 1000whp on an EJ...

There are a few+ people out there doing it now, with ej257's.

The eg's and ez's, on the other hand, can and are making 1000 #'s much easier, haven't seen a 1000hp ez, but there probably is one. No replacement for cyl's:hp ratio at this hp level.

I wasn't saying 1000hp builds arn't around because i know they are, I just think its insane to even attempt it.

As I said before, its really eye opening to look back at some of the old threads like this one to see how far things have come.

gobstopper was making 950 whp on spray on a 2.0 with a 40r in 2008. So Im sure it could be done on a 2.0 now days with the right cash and builder/tuner.

I agree with the gobstopper build. It's powerful and reliable too.

I read all 10 pages, and the very last post (the one above my own) is the only one to feature a video of a 1000+ hp Subaru. Seriously. Why was this thread sticky? It's got almost no information in it and not that I want a 1000hp Subaru but if I did .. the last hour would have been better spent watching porn.

That would likely get you to 1000.

Methanol is your best bet, but that isnt a streetable car then.

Fill block with concrete, sleeve it, big studs, giant turbo or compound turbo setup, no WG max boost, methanol for fuel, and a big shot of nitrous.
