Default Rally this sand pit?

I drive past this sand pit / sand manufacturer twice a day during my work commute. There are two gates on the road i travel, both are always unlocked and open. I cannot tell you how many times i have wanted to drive into this place and bust a couple hot laps.

I didn't realize there is another possible entrance / access road to the west of the facility, until i went to googlemaps.

There are plenty of machines and mobile equipment / buildings i can see from the road, but usually there is nothing operating. This place is huge! All soft clean sand! There is plenty of room to get sideways and still have enough "just in case" on these roads / trails inside the wire.

In my opinion, i think its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission when it comes to maneuvering my wrx through this sand pit. I don't think its as easy as asking the plant manager if "i could drive my car on your sanded roads."

I think i gotta bite the bullet and just drive on in, then act surprised when they kick me out. Like, "what? I'm just looking for my lost puppy. I think she ran in here. You seen her? No? Okay, see ya!"

They will say no because they can be held liable if they let you on the property and you get hurt. Best bet would be to just go for it, but I don't reccomend doing that either. Worst case, they call the cops when they see you and you get stuck in there and get a trespassing charge.

I know it, i have had 4 too many situations with police since november (when i got the car) and i know this will be another, maybe not the first attempt but i will want to go back again and again.

It would be a sick autoX course, if they race off road?

These cars are too much fun. If it would just snow again this winter i wouldn't be itching to go tresspass in a sand pit!

Don't do it.

But if you do, have as many GoPro or equivalent cameras going as you can.

This is what people say before they wreck their car on private property...

This is what gets laughed at by the cops, judge, your attorney, and the attorney of the company pressing charges/going after you for damages when you wreck on their property.

So, this guy said it best:

if off-road driving is your goal, the SCCA rallycross season starts next month at Summit Point. Do it legally. Plenty of subarus will be there. You can "get sidewayz" all you want, and finish in last place....

It does look like fun, but Rallyx is a better idea.

I used to do that mountain biking in unused shale pits. There would be 15-20 guys there biking every evening in the summer. Guys would even bring 4-wheelers and motocross bikes in there to play around. (Obviously the mountin bikes steered clear of the motorized guys.)

The owner would come by and "kick us out" every once in a while...then tell us that he was leaving the gate unlocked so that any stragglers could get out without cutting the fence.

He'd put up new signs from time to time for liability reasons, but he never once stayed around to see if we actually left.

Despite stupid ****ing modern warfare games, the RPG is not a guided rocket. its a rocket propelled grenade. It goes in a relatively straight direction and has no tracking ability what so ever.

So no, an RPG, if brought, would be ineffective. Now, a Stinger manpad launched missile would work.

i see a ticket in your future. i got away with 4wheeling my jeep wrangler like 3 times but the 4th time i was caught. all in the same place, lots of trails, mud pits, steep inclines, rock pits etc, etc

i just loved it so much i went back again and again and again until i got caught. there were no signs saying private property, keep out or anything of the like. but like mentioned before if you do go get plenty of footage lol
