Default AKIC Picture thread

Other chapter's have them so I thought I'd start one here. Doesn't necessarily have to be of a car. Example, most of my pictures will be of nature, and scenery. Well I'll start, with pictures I took yesterday July1, 2006:

These are some of my favorite pics I took in Iraq.

That is a lamb's leg. I took this one outside of Mosul at a propane station.

This is taken in Bartallah a suburb of Mosul, a primarily christian town.

This is a part of Rawah, there is nothing good about this remote desert town.

This is Bartallah again. Everyone is always curious what Americans are doing in there village.

AK_2.5RS,

I think it may just be my monitor color settings but almost 95% of your pictures posted looked way over contrast/bright. Not saying they are not good pictures, I like them a lot, it just seems like the colors are all over exposed.

Some of mine can be found @ http://jordyb.com

Just because we call you an old man doesn't mean you have to date older women.

I do play with the contrast a little in photoshop so maybe I get a little carried away , my pictures just always look dull,so I add a little pop. I wish I had a nice camera with some nice glass to really capture the color the way I would like. Maybe someday. Thanks for the comment's though, next time I'll calm down on the contrast.

Just a comparison here's an original:

I think all the pictures I take are of cars.
I don't think I ever posted this pic in the Denali meet thread, but I was looking through some pics on the computer and found this picture of Hope's Legacy with JP's WRX behind it.
