The Time Has Come, Saying Goodbye To The Midwest

Phil (dwx) and I are moving to Atlanta. I start at the Art Institute of Atlanta for photography in the fall and Phil accepted a job with Earthlink. So, come August we'll be making the big move. There is just too much to do in such little time. We have yet to find an apt down there before the end of the month.

Phil's start date isn't untill the end of august begining of september so we will be living with my folks thru august untill we head down there for good.

But we've still got a little time so i'm sure we'll see alot of you before we go

And just because we're moving dosn't mean ya'll can't come vist us down south now! LOL

Yeah you're right near the Dragon. If I travel to South Carolina for work again I'll have to ride along for a dragon run.

Congrats!

I think you two will love it down there, very mild winters, almost no snow--unless in the mountains. I think you'll also like the elevation changes and the (usually) better roads too. You don't even have to go Deal's Gap to enjoy nice mountain roads, there are some in GA to begin with heheh.

Good luck on the move. There is a lot of fun stuff to do in the Southeast. I didn't believe it until I had to move down there for a couple of years.

Yeah I know Hoppe so I can steer clear of him... Thanks for the kind words everyone, and yes Tim it's ok to be sad for awhile. I'm sure I will miss all the Subaru folks in the midwest, of which I know a ton it seems. It's a bit scary to move, but we're both very excited at the same time.

Bart, I'm going to try and get the car mechanically all together but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it tuned.

I just made it back from ATL today. Weather was rainy today, but it was nice yesterday.
Had a really good meal at Nuevo Laredo Cantina.
Saw no Subarus- wondering why you are leaving again...

I can host at my apartment complex if we want, renting out teh party room is $50 and its pretty nice.
