I own two.

JDM 1990 Legacy GT. Manual, fully kitted out minus cruise control and sunroof. ride is comfy but firm also. It's my cruiser and tourer.

JDM 1990 Legacy TZ. Almost total extreme opposite. Has a few basic things. The ride is really horrible actually. Has worn front struts with stock springs and worn (are they?) rears with king springs. That car is my offroad-go-anywhere-any-terrain car.

my last sedan tore the wrapping on gift I bought for my best friend's baby shower... I vowed then to do it different next time...

Wagon is $1k less than sedan, sleeper dream. Haven't tried mattresses yet, but built my deck w/wood that actually fit.

why do i have a wagon???

4 people get up to big bear with all the boards, clothes, food and beer for a week faster than most suv's. cant wait till stage 2. OH did i mention im 130,000 miles young??? this baby's a tank. sedans are cool, but not as useful...or wagonlike...

I think u'd have to be pretty damn short sighted to think the wagon wasn't as cool as the sedan.

That being said, about 4 weeks ago i was on the market for a used wrx and figured that a wagon was less likely to have been owned by a "jackass" before hand. That plus i like seeing people try and comprehend why I, a single, 24 year old miscreant, would go from a 2 door rx-7 to a 5 door wagon in under a month. Hahaha!

I've got a WRX wagon and a 2.5 RS sedan.

The wagon was obviously a plus with 2 baby seats in back...double stroller, diaper bag, etc, etc... Though since it's been broken, we've found that the space available for toting around a family of four isn't really that much less. Even so with added groceries or the like.

I have had 3 wagons and 1 sedan. I hate sedans.

I like wagons because they look cooler than sedans, and they are more useful. I can't haul all my tools, gear, guns, dead bodies, etc. in a sedan.

Why would you drive a wagon?!

Because I can stretch out in the back, and so can several women

It was a little miracle. I had wanted a WRX originally, but couldn't afford a new one when they laned at dealerships. And I wanted a black wagon. The AWD Gods were smiling on me that January day.

^^ I was in the same boat. Was searching for a few months for a used waggy and lucked out this past March and found the exact car I was looking for at a Honda dealer. The previous owner had traded it in for an Accord. I also lucked out by finding the previous owner here on NASIOC and getting the history of the car.

I've had 3 Subies and they've all been wagons ('82 GL, '97 OBS & '04 WRX).

I wouldn't want it any other way!

Teh Scooby WRX Wagn. Hauling stuff and hauling ass... .

why? why not is a better question i think. sure i paid a little more for it than i should have but it has been worth every penny. i feel like i can do anything, go anywhere with this car. and the awd around 360 degree on- ramps is awesome.

plus i can go up and down these all day w/out worry

-Less common than sedans
-Same essential car as the sedan
-More cargo
-More money in my wallet
-More stealthy ninja style
-Sedona Red WRX's are a rare sight to begin with let alone the wagons.

i just always liked the way the wrx wagons look. after getting it i would never drive anything else. i can put my 55" skimboard in the back and it not slide around how cool is that? awesome on trips too!

makes the best sleeper. with the exception of a hood scoop big enough to catch birds and red 4 pot brakes

convenience, practicality, and it cost the same as a sedan and u don't need a wing to make it look good (sorry to the wingless sedan drivers but it's no good w/o one imo)

also, it's something different to see when u go to meet

Hmm, I had a modded Evo 8 chase me down to race me 3 times, and surprisingly it was nice and even. Now I am friends with the owner, ha!

People always ask me why I own a wagon. I 1st tell them that this is my 2nd subaru wagon, then I say "because wagons are p-i-m-p!".
