Default FS: Rally Blue 06 WRX, 11,200 kms w/SUNROOF (southern Alberta) NEW PRICE

I recently bought a house and would like to trim my monthly payments, so my baby has to go.

I purchased this car in November 05, and have put on 11,200 kms. The car is now parked until I sell it. This car saw 2 snow days. I spent the majority of this winter offshore.

I followed Subarus break in procedure to a T. There have been no hard launches on it. I rev match my downshifts and double clutch going into first.

first oil change at 1300 kms, second at 4300, third at 7600, and it is waiting it's fourth soon. The reason I am waiting is because I have purchased Mobil 1 synthetic oil for it. I'll wait until I have a buyer lined up for it who will either say "yay" or "nay" to switching to synthetics now.

Included is the Subaru Winter floor mats as well.

This car has dealer installed window tint, and the "pro-package" which includes paint protection as well as 3M rock guard (mirrors, hood, and fenders), scotchguarding the interior, and undercoating.

All together with GST, freight, PDI, window tint, and the "pro-pack" the price of this car came close to 44K.

I am asking 35,900 Cdn OBO. This is a private sale so you'll save GST and all the crappy dealer fees. You'll basically be saving just over 8K.

I can be reached through this site, or call me at my home number
(403) 527-9481

I recently moved to Medicine Hat, AB.

This car has no door dents, and is in like new condition.

Heres a pic. Sorry it's not some fancy crazy angled picture.....but you get the jist.

It's an unmodified car. Exactly the same as a brand new 06 rally blue WRX at the dealer, with the exception of window tint, undercoating, rustproofing, paint protection, 3M rock film on hood fenders and mirrors, and scotchguarded interior.

Looks Beautiful. I would've bought this if I hadn't already bought a car.

A new WRX is 35k at the dealership with better financing...

My advice to you, do NOT sell a car in the first 3 years after you bought it.

Keep it, enjoy it, and sell it in 2008-2009.
I don't see anybody buying it for more than 30k (they probably have to add 7% financing to that number).

It's a beautiful car.
Enjoy it!

a new WRX with a sunroof is just under 38K sticker price. 37900 I believe it was. Add the GST, freight/delivery, PDI, admin fees, undercoating, paint protection, 3M film, scotchguard, and tinted windows, and you're sitting just under 44K.

Just because you logged onto the subaru website and saw that a new WRX STARTS at 35K doesn't mean you're actually going to be paying 35K by the time you drive away from the dealer.

I would say it is a very good price. Also, from a 3.8% from dealer to a Line of credit (usually prime +2%) on a 5yr term, it is about $40 more a month or $2400 for the whole term (assume u borrow $30K)

Despite the information I am giving below, I think this car is a great deal for someone as long as they are not financing all or most of the amount.

I just priced out a new 06 at 2.8% for 60 months - total financed cost incl. interest = roughly $41,580. Now that is without sunroof, tint, 3M, etc.

For comparison, Rat Fink's $35,900 at 7% for 60 months total = roughly $42,180.

INTEREST is the devil.

As per Paraskass's comment, three years seems to be the magic number.

My payments can also be taken over provided you qualify for the credit check through GMAC.

This will allow you to keep the dealer 2.8% financing, and continue making payments on the remainder of the balance. (approx 35,500)

I just looked into it and the only cost is 450 bucks to transfer the name on the financing. I will cover that cost.

NEW PRICE - $34500 O.B.O

Now has approx 11 700Kms

just a reminder, if you don't wanna buy it with a bank loan, etc.....I was told by my financers (GMAC) you can retain the dealer 2.8% financing by taking over my financing provided you clear a credit check through GMAC. The ownership can then be transferred, and you'll just have to pay off the outstanding balance. I'll cover the cost of this out of my pocket (~450 bucks).

For clarification....this is not a lease.....this is financing to own it
