Lightbulb Shik? VR-4

Matt,

I was reading a message posted by about disabling the all-wheel steering on a Galant VR-4.

'I'm not crazy about the 4-wheel steering but there's an easy solution to that as well.'

I was wondering if you could fill me in on what this is? I not much of a fan of but didn't know that there was an 'easy'? fix to it (i.e. disable).

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks! E

Eric, check out http://www.mofugas.com/cat_engine.htm and go down near the bottom of the page under misc. You'll see the AWS block-off kit for I think $16.00. It doesn't really remove anything, just disables it. But if memory serves me correct, you can't merely just disconnect the lines and plug them, because the pump is still trying to circulate the fluid. I haven't done it yet personally, but from what I hear from the GVR4 guys, this kit is the way to go for sure, and the Mofugas guys are decent to begin with. Hope this helps some.

Thanks Matt!

It's good to know that there is somthing out there that can 'fix' the 4 wheel steering. I might be selling mine so.. if that doesn't work out I'll probably think about getting this.
