Default Colorado Shops

Hey yall,
I'm new to the RMIC section and wanted to say hi. My name is Matt and I live near Colorado Springs. I was curious for those of you living in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Boulder what are some good, dependable shops for a)paint b)body work(kits and such) c)engine/performance mods and d)Audio/Video work. I talked to a guy in the Springs who used to race cars and he said he wouldn't let anyone in the Springs touch his car. I was wondering what yall thought about this kind of stuff. What are some shops you guys trust? I'm looking at going for maybe the APR Widebody GT Aero Kit, Exedy Stage 2 Clutch and Fidanza Flywheel, and an upgraded Woofer system for the trunk. I also have some minor painting that needs to be done to the mirror(stupid shipping company) and such. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.
Thanks,
Matt

Well, welcome sir. As you can see we normally save this forum for the Mormons. Most of us Colorado gus hang out at www.awdpirates.net

I'm way up north but have heard great things about Revolutions tuning in the Springs. SuperRupair in Boulder is excellent as well. As for body work/paint I've had good luck with AAA collision in Northglenn. But you probably won't want to drive that far. Audio/Video I couldn't help you on. I let the boxer rumble provide my soundtrack 99 percent of the time.

Dynamic Auto in Pueblo West (closer than Boulder or Denver for you) is all subie guys. They mainly deal with building race cars but they could probably wrench on your street car. Todd and Jason are good guys with good prices, and have some bitching rally cars too!

I own Revolutions Tuning. We have the only AWD Dyno in southern Colorado. Hit me up if you have any questions. We don't do paint or bodywork- but we pretty much do everything else. Let me know what I can help you out with. I'm also a Protuner Dealer.

I am sorry, but I just couldn't let such a narrow minded ignorant statement go unchecked.

#1 Utahians are welcome on Pirates, and a handful of our members are from Utah. It is a forum open to all that specializes in Rocky Mountain peoples. That included Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and even some folks from New Mexico and Arizona

#2 Pirates actually has a pretty large Mormon membership, both in Utah and Colorado.

#3 A number of Pirates are loyal Cobb customers and went to SLC for the track day and meet. We do socialize with Utah members, in person in addition to on-line.

In closing, in reading your post it sounds more like some of the non-Mormon NASIOC members (or at least you) have a problem with Pirates and not the other way around. There are a number of us 3 and 4 digit NASIOC members on Pirates, who still post here and participate in this community as well. So, maybe don't be such a narrow minded cretin and be welcoming instead of exclusive! And since you seem to think they Colorado and Utah shouldn't mix, why did you post to this guy's thread? Did you offer any assistance?

Kicking,
I do all my own work, but if I didn't I would totally trust Drac with my car. Go by his shop and meet him in person. You won't regret it...

I've been on some drives with you and liked your ride and personality (and almost had a run-in with Summit County Sheriffs, weren't you Ivan?). I hang out on AWDPirates because it's filled with the funniest, most friendly people I know.

Unfortunately, we now have over 2000 members, which brings in some douchebags like the guy you're stuck responding to. I apologize for that condescending attitude, and please know it's not representative of our group.

My name is Brandon, and I'm proud to be a Mormon Viking AWDPirate. The site's got more of a local flavor, and the OT is much more relaxed and easy to keep up with than here, and I'm not kidding about the fact that the funniest people on the planet post there.

Kindoff what I thought. Seriously, why do people have to get all butt hurt over something so trivial. I never once stated that everyone in Utah is a Mormon. But you must admit that the MAJORITY of Utahans (is that what you are called?) are Mormons. If offends you, whoops. If it made you chuckle, great.
