Default Finally stage 2.... but spools slow?

Finally got my crucial UP and DP and prodrive axleback on. and then flashed stage 2. somehow Im not sure everything is running good. after the install I drove around so the computer can learn. my first impression at normal driving was, i couldnt feel much difference from stage 1 and 2. so I have a couple of questions for AP stage 2 ppl.

1. At partial throttle I could hear a very audible whistling sound, could it be an uppipe leak? I do hit target boost though....

2. I tested 4th gear at full load and showed around 1.1mpa on boost gauge and 16.1psi on the AP. I am sure that is on track, but then boost take almost up to 4000 RPMS hit the spot. same with the other gears. the spooling feels slower than stage 1. shouldnt I hit full boost around 2500 with an UP?

any advice will be helpful

With the up and down pipe it should spool a lot quicker. Me thinks you may have a leak before the turbo.

ya i think so too. but wouldnt the leak keep it from hiting full boost? o ya when I flashed stage 2.. was I suppose to revert my stage 1 back to stock first and then flash stage 2? cause I just flashed a new map over it.

After my stage 2 it spooled faster. 16.1 is perfect for your target boost. That wistling sound is your wastegate/turbo ---which is totally normal. Mine wistles very loud cause my airbox is hacked. I would check all your vacum hoses, and maybe even do the vishnu reset.

No need to flash to stock first, you are ok with that. As far as the slow spool, you may have a leak but the noise would be very noticeable if it was from the UP or DP install. Recheck the UP to Headers flange, if you have a leak it will most likely be there.

Personally I think your car is fine. The noise is probably just the normal increased turbo noise. I though the same thing after my UP DP install. You should be able to really notice a difference though.

Hmmm ic ... it could probably be turbo noise. but shouldnt it not whistle staring at ~1200 RPMS? when i let go of the gas it does a woosh sound like a BOV, but im on the stock one. dont get me wrong it does go like mad once up top. when are you guys hiting full boost?, mine is around 4000. could it be the WG, i heard i might need to adjust it.

My car whistles and blows off when I'm in reverse. Seriously. It's no big deal for you to hear spool at 1200rpms. You should be fully spooled before 3500. Give the WG arm a few turns.
